Split Airport is best known as the airport for holidays and charter flights and is located 25 kms from the city of Split. It is the third largest in Croatia in terms of passenger numbers, handling 1,300,381 passengers in 2011 and acts as an important hub for Croatia Airlines offering flights to many European cities, such as London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Rome and Paris.
Split Airport Transfers
The Split Airport Bus is a cheap Transfer option if you are heading to and staying close to Split Harbour Office Terminal.
The Airport Bus goes directly from Split Airport to Split and takes 30-40 minutes. Leave the arrivals Hall via the main exit and just outside is the queue for the taxis.
