Voted "Airline of the Year 2007" by Airfinance Journal, Royal Jordanian is the flag carrier of Jordan. Headquartered at Amman, Jordan, it has its main base at Queen Alia Airport. Founded in the year 1963, it operates 500 flights per week with at least 110 daily departures. This airline is also a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization and Oneworld; a global airline alliance. It offers scheduled international services to 61 destinations. It also has won the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation award for "Airline Turnaround of the Year 2006".
