Owned by the Porter Aviation Holdings Inc, Porter Airlines (PD) is a regional operator based out of Toronto City Airport, about 2.5 km from downtown Toronto. From its headquarters in Toronto, Porter flies to an ever-expanding array of cities in Canada and the United States including Toronto, Ottawa, Boston, New York, Washington and more, using Canadian-built Bombardier Aerospace Q400 turboprop aircraft. Q Series aircraft are the quietest turboprops flying today, due to the development of the revolutionary Noise and Vibration Suppression (NVS) System, and are the most technologically-advanced regional aircraft in the world. Porter Airlines has got a fleet size of 26 aircraft.
