LATAM Airlines Paraguay (formerly known as TAM Paraguay, Transportes Aereos del Mercosur S.A. and Lineas Aereas Paraguayas) is the flag carrier and the national airline of Paraguay. It was founded in 1962 as Lineas Aereas Paraguayas with its headquarters located in Asuncion (Paraguay). It operates its flights from its main hub Silvio Pettirossi International Airport. Its fleet comprises of four aircraft - Airbus A320-200 that connect eight destinations across South America (Brazil, Spain, Venezuela, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina), North America (New York and Orlando), UK, France, Italy, Canada, Bolivia, and Germany.
Classes of Service
LATAM Airline offers three class configurations - Premium Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
Premium Business
  • Premium Business has a redesigned cabin with flat-bed seats that let the passengers relax and sleep during their journey.
  • All seats in this segment are powered with a high-resolution 15.4 inch screen and an wireless audio-video system with a collection of over 100 movies, including 8 recent hits, 12 new releases, 10 Latin movies, 10 children's movies and 70 classic movies plus 42 TV programs, a full season of 3 TV series, over 1000 music albums and 25 games.
  • Premium Business Class offers delicious cuisines along with an excellent wine list created by Latin America's Master Sommelier, Hector Vergara. The menus change on international flights as per the prevailing time and region. If a passenger’s flight is more than 3 and half hours duration one way, he/she would also be offered special alternative meals.
  • Premium Business passengers are always offered Priority check-in.
Premium Economy
  • Premium Economy is exclusively reserved for 12 passengers.
  • Premium Economy cabins have a universal power outlet where passengers can charge their computers, DVD Players, iPods and other devices.
  • This class offers exclusive facilities such as Priority Check-in, boarding and priority disembarkation and the same preference is allowed for baggage collection.
  • The meals served during the flight are of premium quality and the menu of servings changes as per the prevailing time and region of the flight. You would also be offered some top quality wine if you’d prefer to have some.
Economy
  • Economy Class offers ergonomic seats with adjustable headrests
  • All the seats in this class come with individual wireless entertainment system with videos, music and games that cater to a wide range of preferences and age groups.
  • The menu in the Economy offers an assortment of meals chosen carefully. If the domestic flight is of more than one hour duration, passengers are offered hot and cold beverages and a complimentary snack. Varying as per the hour of the day, passengers on international flights are offered different menus.
