After merging up with LATAM Airlines in 2012, it is now the Brazil's largest airline company. With its magnificent fleet size of 160 aircrafts, TAM Airlines covers 62 destinations across Europe, Brazil, Paraguay, North and South America. The major destination it flies to comprises of La Paz, London, Miami, New York City, Paris, Zurich, Navegantes, Frankfurt, Lima, Mexico City, Milan, Orlando, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago and many more. The aircrafts included in its fleet are Airbus A319-100, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A320neo, Airbus A321-200, Airbus A330-200, Airbus A350-900, Boeing 767-300ER and Boeing 777-300ER.
Classes of ServiceThere are three class configurations offered by the airline - Premium Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
Premium Business
- Premium Business class offers redesigned cabin and flat-bed seats.
- All the seats of this class have a high resolution 15.4 inch screen and an audio-video system available. This AV system boasts an assortment of 110 movies, including 8 recent hits, 12 new releases, 10 children's movies, 10 Latin movies, and 70 classic movies along with 42 TV programs, a full season of 3 TV series, over 1000 music albums, and 25 games.
- There is an enticing menu offered in this class and an excellent wine list created by Latin America's Master Sommelier - Hector Vergara. These menus change on international flights depending upon the hour of the day. In addition, passengers on flight of more than 3 and half hours duration can avail special alternative meals as well.
- Premium Economy offers space for 12 passengers.
- This cabin offers a universal outlet, where passengers can charge computers, DVD Players, iPods, and other devices.
- Premium Economy passengers, just like those of Premium Business, can enjoy priority-check-in and boarding, Premium Business onboard service, and priority disembarkation and baggage collection.
- In this class, passengers are served premium meal menu along with excellent wine collection. On international flights, menu changes depending upon the hour of the day.
Economy Class boasts comfortable upholstery and friendly service. Amenities offered in Economy are -
- Passengers are offered ergonomic seats with adjustable headrests.
- All seats in the class feature individual entertainment system with videos, music, and games for all tastes.
- The airline offers wide array of delicious meals along with hot and cold beverages and a complimentary snack on domestic flights of more than one hour duration. If travelling in international flights, passengers are served menu that differs as per the duration of each flight.
For international flights, web check-in service is available from 72 hours up to 2 hours before flight’s scheduled departure. For domestic flights within Brazil, web check-in is available between 72 hours and 45 minutes before scheduled departure.
