Founded in 1985, Avianca Ecuador is an airline based in Quito (Ecuador) that commenced its operations in 1986. It operates from its primary hub at Mariscal Sucre International Airport (Quito) and secondary hub at El Dorado International Airport (Bogota) and Jose Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (Guayaquil). Avianca Ecuador’s fleet consists of nine aircraft, which includes Airbus A319-100 and Airbus A320-200 class that provide connectivity within Ecuador, between the mainland and the Galapagos Islands, and between Ecuador and Peru and Colombia.
