The total weight of all your carry on baggage must not exceed 7 kg. This includes 1 piece of hand baggage up to 48 x 34 x 23 cm per person.
Besides, for International flights to/from Australia operated by Jetstar (JQ):
Star Class - passengers can carry on a second piece of hand baggage up to 48 x 34 x 23 cm per person or a suit pack.
Economy class - passengers can carry on 1 small item such as a handbag, coat, small camera, umbrella, laptop or suit pack. If you are carrying a suit pack, it must not exceed thickness 11cm, width 60cm and length 114cm when it is unfolded.
