Checked:The rules for checked baggage allowance vary from one route to another. For international flights between USA/Canada, passengers are allowed free checked allowances for two bags which should not weigh more than 50lbs each. For domestic flights to/from Manila, passengers are offered free checked allowance for one bag which should not weigh more than 33lbs.
Excess:If you are carrying more baggage than what is allowed in the 'free baggage limit', then it would be put in the Excess Baggage category. Generally for international flights, for the first additional bag, you have to pay US $50 and for every succeeding bag, you have to pay US $150. Please check the website for more detailed information.
Itinerary Modifications and Cancellations
If you need to change your booking date or cancel the ticket altogether, you have to call the Reservations Office. Whether you want to cancel or change the booking, a penalty would be imposed. Generally the earlier you cancel/rebook, the lesser penalty you have to pay for the same. If you are not able to travel on your scheduled date, your ticket would be of no value and you won't be eligible for the rebooking facility as well.
•Passengers traveling with infants are allowed to carry a stroller or an infant basket if the space constraints on the flight permit the same.
•If you are traveling with pets then you have to place them in a leak proof container and also carry identification documents for the pet. Pets are not counted in free baggage and would be categorized as excess baggage, meaning you would have to pay a specific fee depending on the weight of the pet.
•A pair of skis is counted as one set and would be charged as 25% of the normal excess baggage rate.
