Air Fiji Flight

Started in 1967, Air Fiji (PC) was the most important airline based out in Nausori, Fiji. With its main base in Nadi International Airport and Nausori International Airport, Suva, this airline offered inter-island services within the Fijian Islands. Some of the destinations covered by this airline included Cicia, Gau, Kadavu, Koro, Labasa, Lakeba, Levuka, Malolo, Lailai, Mana, Moala, Nadi, Nausori, Rotuma, Savusavu, Taveuni and Vanuabalavu.

Started with the name of Air Pacific, it was renamed to Fiji air in 1971 and again was renamed to Air Fiji in 1995. Air Fiji had small fleet of 5 airplanes, where passengers relaxed in its comfortable and spacious seats. It had 229 employees in March 2007 and in 2008 for mysterious reasons Air Fiji suspended its operations for two weeks. Finally in May 2009, Air Fiji ceased all its operations.
