Checked Baggage Allowance The following rules apply for checked baggage in the weight and pice system:
Weight System:

On all domestic routes-
Tourist Class passengers can carry up to a maximum of 15 kg.
Culb Condor passengers enjoy a baggage allowance of 30Kg.

On International flights-
Tourist Class passengers can carry up to a maximum of 20 kg, except on certain routes where the baggage allowance ranges from 25-32 kg.
Culb Condor passengers enjoy a baggage allowance of 30Kg, except on certain routes where the baggage allowance is 40 kg.

Piece System:
This system is applicable for travel in countries like the US, Australia and New Zealand and passengers are required to adhere to teh following requirements:
Economy Class- Each ticketed passenger can carry 2 pieces of baggage, each weighing not more than 32kg and not exceeding 62 linear inches.
Clase Club Condor- Each ticketed passenger can carry 2 pieces of baggage, each weighing ot more than 32 kg and not exceeding 62 linear inches.

Carry-on Allowance On all flights and classes, you are allowed one piece of carry-on baggage besides briefcases, handbags and laptop computer. All carry-on items must adhere to the prescribed limit of 26lb/12 kg and 45 linear inches.
Checked Baggage Allowance On flights within Mexico
Clase Premier: You can carry up to 66lb/30 kg of baggage
Coach Class: You can carry up to 55lb/25 kg of baggage

On International flights (Except Brazil)
Clase Premier: You can carry 3 pieces of baggage, each weighing not more than 70lbs/32kgs

On Flights Operated by Aerolitoral
In both classes: If any leg of your journey is operated by Aerolitoral, you may take one piece of baggage with a maximum weight of 30 kg. (66 pounds) and one piece of carry-on baggage weighing no more than 10 kg. (22 pounds).
Excess Baggage Rules The following rules are applicable for baggage exceeding the permitted limits of free allowance:
Domestic flights: 125MXN for every additional kilogram of baggage
Flights to Brazil: 1% of the normal "Y" single fare will be charged per kilogram of excess baggage.

On CRJ aircrafts, you can carry on a small briefcase or business bag weighing not more than 5 kg.

In addition, you can carry a personal item like reading material, overcoat, umbrella or a walking stick, binoculars, camera or lap top.

Carry-on Allowance Each passenger on board Alaska Airlines is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item with a maximum dimension of 24 x 17 x 10 inches/61 x 17 x 10 cm (length x width x height).
Checked Baggage Allowance You can carry two checked bags provided each of these falls within the following permissible limits:
• Weighing not more than 50 lb/23 kg
• Not exceeding 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height)
Excess Baggage Rules If your baggage exceeds the permissible limits of free baggage allowance, you’re required to pay additional fee based on quantity, weight and size. For each bag weighing 51-70 lb, you’ll be charged an additional amount of $25, and for bags between 70- 100 lb the fee is $50 each. There is a fee of $50 for every bag between 63 and 80 inches, and $75 for bags between 80- 115 inches. Bags weighing over 100 lbs and exceeding 115 inches are not accepted. The rates for additional pieces of baggage are- $50 each for 1-3 pieces, $75 each for 4 -6 pieces and $150 each for 7 and up.

It's important to retain copies of your ticket, baggage claim check and any receipts you may have accumulated for expenses incurred as a result of the mishandling. Sports Equipment Some sporting equipment (snow skis, golf clubs), may be checked in lieu of one piece of luggage, if packaged in a suitable container. Sporting equipment checked in addition to the free baggage allowance is charged an excess fee. There is a fee charged in all situations for some equipment (surfboards, scuba gear). Sports Equipment Sporting Equipment counts towards your free baggage allowance.

Each Item of sporting equipment will individually represent 5kgs of a your free total baggage allowance, irrespective of the actual weight of the item.

So, a bicycle weighing 10kgs will represent 5kgs of your free baggage allowance. If the free baggage allowance is 20kgs, this leaves 15kgs for other items. These items include but are not to be restricted to the following:
• Bicycles
• Golf clubs
• Snow skis
• Surfboards
• Cricket / tennis bags
