You may be asking yourself “Why stop at eight?” Certainly, there are way more amazing places out there for you to visit. So let this worldly little octet serve as your starting point for getting out there and experiencing the wonders of the world we live in!

Giza

On the West Bank of the Nile in Egypt, Giza is home to the iconic Sphinx and the famous Three Pyramids, the largest of which was listed by Antipater of Sidon as one of the Seven Wonders of the World in 140 BC. It is the oldest of the ancient wonders by a long shot and the only one that can still be seen today.

Himalayas

With nine of the ten highest peaks on Earth and spread across six nations – Tibet (Tibetan Autonomous Region of China), India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan – the Himalayas are a mighty sight to behold. Just to see them with your own eyes would be great, but for those who crave a bit more adrenaline climbing them would definitely be an option!

Italy

Should you go to Rome? Venice? Florence? Naples? Sicily? YES! Making someone decide on just one place to visit in Italy is cruel considering how many historic and beautiful cities, villages, beaches, mountains, ancient ruins, museums, restaurants, and more await! Make time to take in as much as possible on your tour of the Old Country. You won’t regret it.

4,000 years of culture and some of the world’s most important religious sites (a number of which are within a short stroll of each other) make Jerusalem an exceptional city for honing your global perspective.

Machu Picchu

High atop the Andes in Peru, the ancient remains of the long lost Incan civilization, and the spectacular panoramas, have many a globetrotter placing Machu Picchu at the summit of their bucket list.

Paris

Ah the City of Lights! Is there any city more romantic? For the “haute”-est in food, fashion and art, there is no finer destination. Its most popular attractions – the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Montmartre, the Louvre – rank among Europe’s most cherished sites.

Petra

The world’s most famous archaeological site brings flocks of visitors to the Jordanian desert – and for good reason! With its centuries old one-of-a-kind rock-cut architecture there’s nowhere on Earth quite like Petra.

Serengeti

Mother Nature dons her most eloquent display in the Serengeti, a unique ecosystem spanning more than 12,000 square miles in Tanzania and Kenya. For the safari of a lifetime and the chance to experience wildlife amid some of the world’s most stunning scenery, pack your bags and take a walk on the wild side!
