Thursday, an Alaska Airlines flight was forced to return to its gate in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport after a rat was discovered to be on board.
Once the aircraft returned to its gate, all passengers departed and had to wait 90 minutes before boarding another plane.
The aircraft isn’t expected to be used until maintenance workers can confirm the rat didn’t damage any equipment or bite any wires a spokesperson said. An exterminator will also make sure its rodent-free.
