Loews Hotel Chain Finds Cure for Clogged Toilets

This blog post was updated on October 16, 2018.

The American Standard Champion 4 toilet has come to the rescue of the Loews Hotel chain, which was suffering from too many clogged toilets.

The issue got bad enough where 12 hotel guests per day a month were reporting clogged toilets  in each of their three hotels at Universal Orlando.
According to the report by USA Today, the issue came about when new building
codes required toilets to use 1.6 gallons of water per flush, half of
what they were using. It led to the dredded clogged toilets.

The Champion 4 toilet is powerful enough to flush a bucket of golf balls the piece stated, so its capable to handle much of anything you have to offer.
The new toilet has led to an 80 reduction in clogged toilets according to the hotel’s senior vice president of facilities, Dick Senechal.
The Loews Hotel have now added the toilet to a third of its chain, which totals 18.
