Caesars Entertainment Corp. has announced that it will soon develop hotels and restaurants that will not be associated with gaming casinos.
The decision makes monetary sense for the gambling giant. Over the past decade, casino operators like Caesars have seen an increase in revenue from hotel and restaurant divisions.
Caesars said it will use the unit to expand its presence in the overseas market, especially in Asia and Latin America.
Earlier this year, Caesars announced a partnership with restaurant operator Nobu Matsuhisa to develop a Nobu brand hotel at the Caesars Palace property in Las Vegas.
