American Airlines to Recall Nearly 800 Workers

On Wednesday, American Airlines announced that it will recall 545 flight attendants and 250 pilots to manage network expansion on international routes.

 

The carrier said its partnership with British Airways and Spain’s carrier, Iberia, which begins on Wednesday, has produced new opportunities.

 

Twenty-five pilots will be recalled in mid-November; about 30 pilots will be recalled monthly following the first group.

 

Recalls for flight attendants will be issued to about 225 attendants in October. More recall notices will follow.
