New York City Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” Hits the Silver Screen Tuesday

The New York City Ballet’s iconic production of “The Nutcracker” will premiere at a movie theater near you on Tuesday, December 13.

The world-famous ballet will stream live from Lincoln Center in stunning HD to over 560 movie theaters across all 50 United States for one night only.

Though tickets to this one-of-a-kind event will cost you a whole lot less than a trip to New York City, you should expect to pony up a little more than on your average Saturday night movie date.

Entry will cost somewhere between $15 and $20, according to the Chicago Sun Times. Ballet fans should contact their local theater to see if they will be participating.
