With its constant turnover and intimate venues, Sin City has become a popular spot for performers to take a break from touring and establish a semi-permanent residency.
Over the years, Las Vegas has hosted dozens of colorful musicians and outrageous celebrities from Celine Dion to Elton John.
This August, the Strip will play host to perhaps its most colorful character yet. According to a report in the Washington Post, soul singer and costume extraordinaire Cee Lo Green will host 28 shows at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
The residency will begin on August 29 and run at least through the end of 2012.
