Alaska Airlines is celebrating its newly expanded in-flight Wi-Fi service by offering travelers free access to Facebook through the month of June.
According to the Seattle-based carrier, its Wi-Fi service, powered by GoGo, will be available on 92 percent of its fleet by month’s end.
The announcement comes a day after the tech-friendly airline announced that its pilots would be replacing their in-flight manuals with iPads.
Regular pricing for the in-flight internet service ranges from $4.95 for flights under 90 minutes to $12.95 for flights lasting three hours or more.
