TAM Airlines, the largest airline in South America, announced Monday that it will be adding a daily flight between Orlando and Sao Paulo, Brazil beginning on August 2, doubling the frequency on the popular route.
The decision comes as a result of high and rising demand from passengers traveling between the two cities. TAM is currently the only airline to fly non-stop on the route.
The new flight will operate on Airbus A330 aircraft, offering 221 seats: four in First Class, 34 in Business Class, and 183 in Economy Class.
In the interim, the airline has also scheduled one extra daily flight between Orlando and Sao Paulo to meet increased demand during peak travel season.
