Prince William and Kate Middleton, just months removed from their expensive honeymoon getaway in Seychelles, appear to be cutting back just like the rest of us.
The two were spotted flying on Britain’s flybe budget airline over the weekend after attending the wedding of William’s cousin Zara Phillips.
The royal couple sat amongst commoners during the hour-long flight as the discount airline does not provide First Class seating.
The pair even shuffled through security lines like all the other passengers, according to witnesses. Reports indicate the pair spent a whopping $62 on each one-way ticket.
That’s quite the savings for a duo that racked up a $700,000 bill on their 10-day honeymoon. Not one to be outdone, William's brother Prince Harry reportedly paid just $36 on a westJet flight back to London following cousin Zara's wedding.
