The Big Apple will soon be welcoming a big teddy.
Swiss artist Urs Fischer has created a unique 23-foot tall yellow teddy bear sculpture that will call New York City home for the next five months.
The bear will rest at the base of the Seagram Building on Fifth Avenue.
Visitors can catch a glimpse of the bear day or night; the oversized desk lamp the bear rests under actually lights up.
The sculpture will be auctioned off on May 11 during the Post-War & Contemporary sale. The bear, which weighs in at 35,000 pounds, could sell for over $10 million, according to early estimates.
