J.D. Power & Associates recently named 40 companies to its 2011 Customer Service Champions list.
Selections were made from a variety of industries but the travel sector was well represented this year with multiple airlines and hotels being recognized for outstanding customer care.
On the airline front, Southwest Airlines, JetBlue Airways, and WestJet were recognized as the top carriers for providing quality customer service.
Two hotel companies, Four Seasons and the Ritz-Carlton, were picked as cream of the crop in the hospitality industry while Enterprise took honors for providing the best customer service among rental car companies.
J.D. Power also recognized Indianapolis International Airport for providing the best traveler experience among the nation’s airports.
