Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman attended a ground-breaking ceremony Thursday at the Neon Boneyard Museum in downtown Las Vegas.
The museum houses a unique collection of discarded neon signs that offer a glimpse at Las Vegas’ storied history.
The ceremony kicked off construction of a brand new visitor center at the museum that is being funded as part of downtown Las Vegas’ ongoing revitalization process.
Museum organizers expect the project to be complete by Spring 2012.
