Courtyard by Marriott has teamed up with the National Football League in an agreement that makes the fast-growing chain the official hotel of the NFL.
That means travelers staying at Courtyard properties could soon use reward points to cash-in on NFL gear and even game day tickets.
An average stay at the hotels on Monday and Thursday nights will look a little different during football season as well. During each Monday and Thursday night game, the properties will host viewing parties in hotel lobbies.
The NFL and Courtyard may also soon launch a co-branded “Greatness on the Road” campaign that would highlight the importance of travel in the lives of NFL players and their fans.
Though the relationship is official, the two sides are still working out plans to optimize the relationship.
