After breaking Broadway records and earning critical praise and nine Tony Awards in the process, “The Book of Mormon” is ready to go national.
The irreverent, smash-hit Broadway musical will open up a tour of the United States in August with a stint in Denver, Colorado.
Tickets for the Denver production, which will run from August 14 through September 2, went on sale Sunday and sold out in under five hours.
According to a report in the Denver Post, some diehard fans slept outside of ticket offices Saturday night to ensure they’d get a ticket.
After the show wraps up in Denver, it will head to the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, California on September 5.
