Musee Sidi Mohammed ben Abdallah (or Sidi Mohammed ben Abdallah Museum)

The Sidi Mohammed ben Abdallah Museum is a classic history museum in the Moroccan city of Essaouira. It is named in the honor of the founder of the city, Mohammed ben Abdallah. This classic museum is housed inside a 19th century mansion and is home to an interesting range of historical artifacts and documents related to various periods of Moroccan history. Some of the highlights here include ancient pottery, coins, jewelry, carpets and embroidered clothes and weapons.
