Anitkabir
Perched royally atop a hill on Anittepe quarter in Anakra, the Anitkabir is the final resting place of Turkey’s founding father, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It was completed over a period of 9 years between 1944 and 1953 and features Seljuk and Ottoman architectural styles. This mausoleum also includes the Museum of Ataturk and War of Independence that together contain a remarkable collection of personal belongings, photographs, and documents related to Ataturk in addition to several pictures from the War of Independence.

These artifacts date back to Bronze Age and include some of the most integral periods of Egyptian history like Roman and Byzantine empires.
