Spring has sprung. And oh it feels so good. It tastes great too, and the air is filled the heavenly scent of flowers in bloom. One of the best things about springtime is getting to experience nature when it’s most full of vital energy, even if the opportunity is brief. Asparagus<\/h3>\n

These green and vitamin rich spears of deliciousness certainly have detractors. Fortunately for them the super healthy veggie has a short growing season and shelf life . For the rest of us though this means we must make the most of asparagus season to devour as much as is humanly possible before the freshest best spears disappear from the local markets and food shops. If you’re traveling to the UK during spring be sure to try English asparagus, considered to be the most flavorsome in Europe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cherry Blossoms<\/h3>\n

Are the cherry blossoms in bloom where you are? Lovely, aren’t they? Of course the best-known and most celebrated destinations to take in the vibrant display of cherry blossoms in bloom are Japan<\/a> and Washington DC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Orange Blossoms<\/h3>\n

Ahh! There may be no more enchanting and heady an aroma than orange blossoms. For a perfume perfect scent of spring plan an escape to Seville in the south of Spain<\/a>, Sicily in Italy<\/a>, and any number of dreamy Mediterranean destinations.<\/p>\n

Rhubarb<\/h3>\n

This fruity tasting veggie treat adds a distinctively sweet tang to desserts during spring and early summer. In England<\/a>, there\u2019s even a Rhubarb Triangle in Yorkshire where the year\u2019s first rhubarb harvest takes place by candlelight in forcing sheds for a result that\u2019s believed to be a sweeter, tenderer stalk.<\/p>\n
