Participating restaurants offer three-course lunches for $24 and dinners for $35.<\/p>\n

The promotion runs for two weeks (January 24\u2013February 6, 2011) and includes more restaurants than ever before.<\/p>\n

“NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2011 will bring together a community of over 300 of our City’s finest restaurants to celebrate the enjoyment and camaraderie of dining,” NYC & Company\u2019s Tracy Nieporent explained in a release.<\/p>\n

To get the most value from this promotion, research participating restaurants on Yelp.com<\/a> before making a reservation. Some restaurants already offer fixed price lunches or pre-theater dinners that cost about the same as the Restaurant Week deals. Remember that beverages, tax and tip are not included in the offer, which runs Monday through Friday at most restaurants.<\/p>\n

\nThis Midtown East restaurant is known for its elegant atmosphere and expensive prices (it earns \u201c$$$$\u201d on Yelp.com).\u00a0 You might see a celebrity here; Le Cirque was the location of Howard Stern\u2019s star-studded 2008 wedding. While customer reviews are mixed, there\u2019s no doubt that Le Cirque\u2019s Restaurant Week menu is a great deal.\u00a0 The prix fixe lunch is normally $45 and dinner entrees cost $39- $69. If you\u2019re on a budget, skip the pricey cocktails (up to $20 each).

\nCelebrity chef:<\/strong> Riverpark<\/a>\u00a0 (450 E 29th St, Manhattan, NY)
\nThis new restaurant is associated with Tom Colicchio, the head judge on Bravo\u2019s Top Chef.\u00a0 It serves American cuisine in the Kip\u2019s Bay neighborhood. The New York Times calls Riverpark\u2019s menu \u201ccaptivating,\u201d and customers rave about the scenic East River views. Get the most value from Restaurant Week by going for dinner, not lunch. Entrees normally cost $24- 28 each.<\/p>\n

\nThis iconic restaurant is located in a midtown Manhattan townhouse, within walking distance from Broadway theaters. Its American cuisine is well regarded, but the main attraction is the historic setting. Built in the 1870s, the \u201821\u2019 Club was a speakeasy during Prohibition and is a popular spot for marriage proposals.\u00a0 If you go during restaurant week you\u2019ll save $6 off the standard prix fixe lunch.<\/p>\n
