The historic Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park has re-opened following three weeks of extensive renovations.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Park officials say the 84-year-old hotel received new flooring, carpeting, and energy efficient appliances.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Several historic artifacts were also restored and a much needed upgrade was performed on the hotel\u2019s fire alarm system.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

While many rooms, restaurants, and shops at the hotel are now open, suites on the fifth and sixth floors remain closed for ongoing improvements.<\/p>\n
