Virgin Atlantic is currently seeking partnership options, according to founder Richard Branson.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The charismatic billionaire denied any interest in selling the airline outright, however.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“It’s very much been my baby for the last 26 years, so it’d be a bit like selling my daughter,” said Branson.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He did admit, however, that the airline would need to team up with a larger airline if it wishes to remain competitive in the future.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Though a move like that might mean Branson selling some of his shareholding, he insists that he would remain heavily involved in operations.<\/p>\n
