There it will be on permanent display inside the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Endeavour will head to its new home at the California Science Center in Los Angeles when it completes its final voyage later this month.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Atlantis, meanwhile, will remain in Florida at the Kennedy Space Center when it touches down for the last time later in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In all, twenty-one institutions from across the country were vying for a chance to land one of the retired shuttles.
