Fauchon<\/strong>: You\u2019ve never been to a gourmet food shop until you\u2019ve been to Fauchon. Founded in 1886, this foodie haven specializes in baked goods, wine<\/a>, teas, cheeses, jams, sea salts, and fine candies. This is a great spot to pick up some small, packable souvenirs.<\/p>\n

Fromagerie Quatrehomme<\/strong> (62 rue S\u00e8vres 75007 Paris): Arguably the best cheese shop in Paris, Quatrehomme is a tiny spot located in the 7th arrondissement (for a glorious period of time, this was my neighborhood cheese shop). Here you can sample some of the country\u2019s best cheeses in a comfortable, homey atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Debauve et Gallais<\/strong>: Founded in 1800, Debauve and Gallais were the \u201cchocolate makers of the kings of France.\u201d Today this gourment chocolate shop has an extensive array of handmade candies fit for a king–an excellent idea for a souvenir or simply a treat for yourself.<\/p>\n
