Check out Quartier d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9. This city-wide summer arts<br \/>\nfestival kicks off on July 14<sup>th<\/sup>, which is also Bastille Day, <a href=\"\/going-places\/tag\/france\/\">France<\/a>\u2019s<br \/>\nnational holiday. Quartier d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 features a variety of film, dance, music,<br \/>\nperformance art, theater, and circus art performances by international<br \/>\nartists, and most of them are free! Festival passes are available for one, two or all<br \/>\nthree days. If you\u2019re planning on staying for more than one day, you can even<br \/>\ncamp nearby. This<br \/>\nyear\u2019s Rock en Seine performers include The Black Keys, Placebo, Green Day,<br \/>\nAgoria and SigurRos. The annual Cin\u00e9ma<br \/>\nen plein air festival\u2019s film screenings are top-quality and<br \/>\ntypically free. There is at least one screening per evening from July 25<sup>th<\/sup><br \/>\nthrough August 26<sup>th<\/sup>. Don\u2019t speak French? No problem. Many of the<br \/>\nfilms are international and quite a few are in English.
