And of course there will be plenty of food to nosh on.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pumpkinfestival2015.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.onetravel.com\/cheap-flights\/new-hampshire-nh-united-states-deals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lacona, New Hampshire<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Formerly known as the Keene Pumpkin Festival, before it moved to another town and took on its new name, this yearly celebration of all thing pumpkins started off in the 90s as an attempt to set the world record for the most lit jack-\u2018o-lanterns in one place, which has become the heart of the annual event, and even held the record for a while in the Guinness Book of World Records. This year\u2019s celebration goes down on October 24.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.harvestontheharbor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harvest On The Harbor<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.onetravel.com\/cheap-flights\/maine-me-united-states-deals\">Portland, Maine<\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\nAlthough it\u2019s only in its 7th year, Portland, ME\u2019s Harvest on the Harbor festival \u2014 which runs this year from October 21 to 25 \u2014 has become a must-visit for fans of quality seafood and cooking. The celebrations is chock full of food-focused events with plenty of drinking (kids are not allowed), all to fight hunger and help the needy in Maine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncpecanfestival.com\/index.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">North Carolina Pecan Harvest Festival<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.onetravel.com\/cheap-flights\/north-carolina-nc-united-states-deals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Whiteville, North Carolina<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Taking place in Whiteville, North Carolina on the weekend of November 7th, this year will mark the town\u2019s 23rd annual celebration of everyone\u2019s favorite southern nut. Visitors can look forward to a festival queen pageant, 5K and 8K runs, a parade, a cooking contest, and more (including lots of pecans).<\/div>\n<div>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/konacoffeefest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kona Coffee Cultural Fest<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.onetravel.com\/cheap-flights\/kona-koa-hawaii-deals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kona, Hawaii<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Ask any coffee enthusiast about the quality of brew from Hawaii and you\u2019ll be greeted with a litany of praises for a cup of Joe made from the beans grown on the islands. So it should comes as no surprise that there\u2019s a festival to celebrate the Hawaiian coffee in honor of the annual harvest. What is surprising?
