Some of the greatest restaurants, patisseries, boutique food shops and more await globetrotting gourmets seeking a taste of the best local and regional French food.<\/p>\n<p>But it should not be overlooked that Paris is an exceptionally cosmopolitan place. Not only the capital of a prominent Western European nation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onetravel.com\/cheap-flights\/paris-par-france-deals\">Paris<\/a> is very much the center of the entire French speaking world. With such a distinction comes a lot of yummy treats from all corners of the planet. Not the least of which are the East Asian contributions to the Parisian dining scene.<\/p>\n<p>If you have plans to visit Paris, it&#8217;s worth keeping in mind a few Asian alternatives for dining and snacks while you&#8217;re there. Here are a few options to consider based upon the recommendations some Parisian friends shared with me during my last trip.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hanoi Paris<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>74, rue de Charonne, 75011<\/em><br \/>\n<em>The nearest Metro is Charonne.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Hanoi Paris is an incredibly popular and evocative little restaurant on hip and happening rue de Charonne. My last time in Paris, I was advised by a good friend that \u201cif I only go to one restaurant it should be this one.\u201d Part of that had to do with proximity. Still it was a great dining experience and I was not disappointed. Indeed, I plan to dine there again on my next visit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Little Hanoi<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>9, rue Mont-Louis, 75011<\/em><br \/>\n<em>The nearest Metro is Philippe Auguste.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Same great menu and Indochinese dishes, just in a smaller space that&#8217;s more accommodating to takeout orders than for sit down dining. This location is very near the western (and less touristy) entrance to the famous P\u00e8re Lachaise Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thai Spices<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>7, rue de l&#8217;Ave Maria, 75004<\/em><br \/>\n<em>The nearest Metro is Sully-Morland.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A lovely little restaurant with impeccable service and the best pad Thai I&#8217;ve personally ever eaten. The vibe is especially friendly, they have menus in English and the food is absolutely scrumptious. This is an excellent choice for catching up with close friends and family or for a quiet dinner for two.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patisserie de Saison<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>2 rue Simone Weil, 75013<\/em><br \/>\n<em>The nearest Metro is Porte d&#8217;Ivry.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This humble little East Asian patisserie is located in Paris&#8217; quartier Chinois and offers a delectable selection of freshly baked cakes and pastries along with dumplings, sandwiches and range of teas (including bubble tea) and other imported refreshments.
