Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Thirteen years ago, three cubs were rescued from the apartment of an Atlanta drug dealer, who reportedly kept them as a status symbol. Today, this too-cute-for-words trio is fondly referred to as BLT by staff members at the Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary in Locust Grove, Georgia.<\/p>\n

Separately, they\u2019re known as Baloo the brown bear, Leo the lion, and Shere Khan the tiger and are native to three entirely different continents.<\/p>\n

Under normal circumstances, these unlikely besties (and we really<\/em> mean unlikely) should have been at each other\u2019s throats \u2014literally. Instead, they choose to share a cage on a sprawling three-acre habitat.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey actually seek out each other\u2019s affections,\u201d the founder of Noah\u2019s Ark, Jama Hedgecoth, said. \u201cThey nuzzle each other. They play together.\u201d
\nThat\u2019ll be one point for animals, zero for humans. We could really learn a few things about acceptance and friendship from these big \u2018n furry guys.<\/p>\n
