To really get a feel for the history and architecture of this area, I recommend checking out the annual\u00a0Historic Belmont-Hillsboro Home Tour<\/a>. This year it takes place on October 3rd from 11am -5pm. \u00a0Each year, the tour showcases a variety of homes from different eras and built in different architectural styles, as well as the famous Belmont Mansion. If you won\u2019t be in Nashville for the home tour, you can still visit the historic\u00a0Belmont Mansion<\/a>, an Italian-style villa that dates back to 1853. Even if architecture isn\u2019t really your \u201cthing,\u201d you can\u2019t help but be impressed by this amazing structure.<\/div>\n
