If you\u2019re thirsty (and hungry) for a great happy hour in Nashville<\/a>, have no fear. There are plenty of places to whet your whistle (and eat your fill of good food) while having a great time (not hard to do in Nashville!). Here are my top five recommendations.<\/p>\n

Eastland Cafe<\/a><\/strong>
\nA local favorite, Eastland Caf\u00e9 is a great place for those craving a casual yet stylish atmosphere, foodie-friendly appetizers (like seared scallops, fish tacos, or a regional artisan cheese plate, to name a few), a well-curated wine list and great drink specials. Happy hour specials (including $5 martinis and specialty appetizers) run from 5:00-6:30 Monday through Thursday and 5:00-6:00 on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

M.L. Rose Craft Beer and Burgers<\/a><\/strong>
\nThe name says it all. Burger and beer aficionados should head here for some of the tastiest craft brews and juiciest burgers in the city. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 4:00-7:00pm ($1 off appetizers, beer, wine, and cocktails), and there are Sat. and Sun, drink specials as well. The beer menus change seasonally, and the natural beef burgers come in a variety of classic and cutting edge combinations.<\/p>\n

Wild Ginger<\/a><\/strong>
\nIf a sushi happy hour is more your style, then Wild Ginger is the place to go. Located in Cool Springs, Wild Ginger serves seafood and fusion cuisine in a simple, attractive setting. Happy hour specials runs Monday through Friday from 4:00-6:00pm. The relaxed atmosphere and delicious cuisine make this the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.<\/p>\n

Red Pony<\/a><\/strong>
\nThe \u00fcber-stylish and gourmet Red Pony is a great place to grab an innovative appetizer (try the TN tapas or the beef tenderloin pizza) and an excellent glass of wine (off of the extensive wine list) or signature cocktail (I recommend the \u201cbijou\u201d \u2013 gin, chartreuse, sweet vermouth, and orange bitters).<\/p>\n

12 South Taproom and Grill<\/a><\/strong>
\nLive music, tons of great beer on tap, and soulful, filling cuisine make 12 South Taproom one of the most fun places to spend happy hour in Nashville. Tuck into some herb-roasted potato wedges with blue cheese dipping sauce and order up a refreshing IPA. You can\u2019t go wrong.<\/p>\n
