From fox fur hats to antique gramophones, I\u2019ve found my fare share of goodies over the years. Here are my three favorite flea markets to peruse in the Los Angeles area.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/melrosetradingpost.org\" target=\"_blank\">Melrose Trading Post<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nFairfax High School: 7850 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90046<br \/>\nEvery Sunday from 9a.m.-5p.m.<br \/>\n$2 admission fee (goes to support Fairfax High School)<br \/>\nLocated in the parking lot of Fairfax High School, the Melrose Trading Post attracts an eclectic array of vendors. If you\u2019re searching for vintage records, clothing, house wares, or jewelry, you\u2019ll find plenty of unique (and well-priced) items to tempt you here.\u00a0 After you\u2019re done perusing the goods, head to one of the many nearby restaurants for a bite to eat.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gondolierboosters.org\/market_page.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Venice Antiques and Collectible Flea Market<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nVenice High School: 13000 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066<br \/>\nSecond Saturday of every month from 8a.m.-4p.m.<br \/>\nJewelry, trinket, coin, silver, leather (and the list goes on) collectors will love this monthly flea market. You can feel good about shopping here, too, since 100% of all vendor fees go to support the programs at Venice High School. The remaining dates for 2012 are October 13th, November 10th and December 8th. When you\u2019re done adding to your collections, head to Abbot Kinney for a bite to eat in one of Venice\u2019s many great restaurants.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rgcshows.com\/rosebowl.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Rose Bowl Flea Market<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nRose Bowl Stadium, 1001 Rose Bowl Drive, Pasadena, CA, 91103<br \/>\nSecond Sunday of every month<br \/>\n$8 admission fee (children under 12 enter for free)<br \/>\nLocated in neighboring Pasadena, The Rose Bowl Flea Market is the \u201cgrand dame\u201d of all Los Angeles-area flea markets. Featuring over 2,500 vendors, this monthly event draws between 15,000-20,000 shoppers. There are also food vendors to sustain you through your hunt. If you\u2019re in the area on the 2nd Sunday of the month, I highly suggest checking it out. It\u2019s an eclectic scene that\u2019s fun for the whole family.
