Saratoga Springs<\/strong>: The historic city of Saratoga Springs is known for many things, not least of which is it\u2019s impressive horse race track.<\/p>\n

The city\u2019s charming main street has a variety of unique art galleries, restaurants<\/a>, and shops. Take a stroll through the Adelphi Hotel on Broadway— you\u2019ll feel as though you\u2019ve traveled back in time.<\/p>\n

Ballston Spa<\/strong>: Ballston Spa is located near Saratoga Springs. Rich in history, it is known for its beautiful Victorian architecture, and the Old Iron Spring, a mineral spring with healing qualities. Stop by the Strolling Village Artisans co-op to find a unique souvenir.<\/p>\n

Albany<\/strong>: While in upstate New York, be sure to check out the state\u2019s capitol, Albany. Take a stroll by the capital building, a beautiful example of 19th century architecture. If you\u2019re anywhere near the Empire State Plaza, you won\u2019t be able to miss The Egg, a state-of-the-art performance venue with a unique shape.<\/p>\n
