Atlanta — Light Up Bouquets at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens: If you are near Atlanta for Mother’s Day or considering where to take your mom for the big day, the city will be drawing in those looking for light up bouquets at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. The 30-acre gardens in Midtown, just across from Piedmont Park, will be hosting the Bruce Munro: Light in the Garden exhibit. The event will bring unique installations to the gardens by British artist Bruce Munro. Using anything from recyclable plastic bottles to fiber optics, the display will transform the gardens into luminous art. Visitors for Mother’s Day can see six different installations throughout the gardens and conservatories. Perhaps the most celebrated installation will be the Forest of Light, featuring more than 30,000 flower-like stems of light. The Light in the Garden exhibit runs from May 2nd through October from 6PM to 11PM, Wednesday through Sunday.
