Alitalia to launch nonstop flights from Dulles to Rome commencing 2nd May 2019!

Alitalia is launching nonstop service from Dulles to Rome starting 2 May 2019. The airlines will be offering five nonstop weekly flights on Mondays, Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, using Airbus A330-200 aircrafts for this new service.


Alitalia Flights

Alitalia - Societa Aerea Italiana, operating as Alitalia, is the flag carrier of Italy. Founded in March 1999, the airline has its main hub at Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport, and secondary hub at Linate Airport in Milan and its focus cities are Catania-Fontanarossa Airport, Milan-Malpensa Airport, Palermo Airport, and Naples Airport. The airline serves 94 destinations worldwide using its fleet of several Boeing 777-200ER, Airbus A330-200, Airbus A321, Airbus A320 and Airbus A319. The airline also flies to several regional destinations using a fleet of Embraer 190 and Embraer 175.


  • Magnifica passengers can select their preferred seat at the time of reservation. The airline also extends its privileged treatment to them during check-in, security clearance and boarding. These passengers can access premium lounges called Casa Alitalia to relax and to use complimentary Wi-Fi.

  • The airline offers a baggage allowance of two pieces weighing upto 23 kgs.
  • Travelers can relax in a dedicated, quiet cabin comprising 17 or 24 seats (depending on the aircraft). These seats recline up to 120 degrees and offer up to 40% more legroom than the seats in Economy Class.
  • Every seat features a 10.4 or 10.6-inch personal screen (depending on the aircraft) that can be used to watch movies and TV programs, listening to music and playing games.
  • Premium Economy travelers can use Wi-Fi and make phone calls.
  • Passengers flying in late evening or late-night flights are provided blankets and pillows.
