I loved Lvov! It is an old city - 13th century - with a wonderful City centre. The old town is in disrepair with few foreign tourists and has zero international chain stores! Every shop, restaurant, bar appears to be Ukrainian-owned and operated! Walk thru a battered entrance to a house, past the disheveled stairs leading to flats filled with locals and discover some original place - a bar, restaurant or shop. The food is always homemade. Sometimes the liquors are made by the owners who you can be sure didn't apply for some governmental approval. And everything is quite cheap.
Don't miss the Coffee Museum or the Banderovci Bar called Krijivka. - Mariya Jul 09, 2015
