Malev Hungarian Airlines has ceased operations in February 3, 2012. A prolific airline, which flew to 50 destinations, it had its hub in Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. Founded in 1946, the airlines operated in 34 countries worldwide. It was a member of the Oneworld alliance and flaunted a frequent-flyer program called Duna Club. Few of the destinations covered by Malev Airlines were Larnaca, Tel Aviv, Beirut, Prague, Berlin, Frankfurt, Budapest, Warsaw, Geneva, Zurich, Sarajevo, Sofia, Athens, Bucharest, St. Petersburg, Istanbul and Paris. However, you can also fly the same route with the Lot Polish Airlines and the Iberia Airlines.
