Based in Kaliningrad, Russia, KD Avia Airlines (KD) was founded in the year 1945. Flying across 22 destinations, KD Avia Airlines had its main hub in Khrabrovo Airport. This airline was launched with the aim of connecting Russia and other CIS countries with Europe. KD Avia Airlines reached new heights, when it announced its international services in 2004. In February 2005, KD Avia Airlines got its first Boeing 737-300. By offering highly dedicated services to its passengers, it became the most preferred airline within a short span of time.
KD Avia Airlines covered some of the major destinations which included Asia, Europe, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain and Ukraine. The airline’s modern fleet of 19 airplanes gave it a distinctive presence across its extensive route network. Due to some unwanted circumstances, KD Avia Airlines ceased all its operations on 8 September 2009.
