Texas trip     
We had a great trip to the Austin area. We stayed in a time-share resort on Canyon Lake. The location was great because it was centrally to everything we did. We spent time visiting wineries in the area. President Johnson's home ranch was a must see attraction. We spent a day in San Antonio on the riverwalk. Our favorite spot was relaxing in Gruene visiting the shops and sipping wine outside. The weather was also great in the 60's to 80's.

Austin Airport     
The Austin Bergswtrom is a nice small airport, just follow the signs to find your gate. Many of shops are not chains, but unique, fun stores. Prices in chain restaurants seem to be far above the prices in the same chain "outside". Small problem - wastebaskets in men's restrooms overflow with trash.
