My trip to Cabo San Lucas 
5 My husband and I spent a week in Cabo. The weather was perfect and the sunsets were picture post card quality. The local cusine was very good and we tried a variety of foods. Since we had a non-stop flight, our travel to and from Cabo went Very smoothly. We would certainly recommend this destination.

San Jose On A Shoestring 
4 San Jose and most all of Costa Rica has a low cost of living. While tourism remains a main source of income, the majority of jobs do not pay a large salary. Instead, locals truly live the motto Pura Vida or "pure life." The majority live simple and true to what their homeland provides. I highly recommend getting to know some "ticos" during your stay. The best meal I had while in CR was a homemade breakfast at a friends house. Hand rolled tortillas, plantains and natilla (a sour cream-like dairy product):I added some habanero hot sauce to provide some "gringo" flair.
