April in Puerto Vallarta - AFTER Spring BreakConnie 
Apr 25, 2012 We stayed at the Westin Club Regina from April 14th to April 21, 2012. The weather was PERFECT! Not humid, in the 60's in the morning and warming up to the 80's during the day. Crowds were down and the "Spring Breakers" were gone. Very few little children and it was so peace-filled and relaxing.
After traveling to Mexico for more than 30 years it was nice to discover that the beach vendors (& even those in town)seemed to take "no" for an answer and didn't follow you, hounding you to purchase trinkets or time-shares.
They recently finished renovating the boardwalk (Malencon) through the main part of town and the street is now a pedestrian walkway. Very scenic and a beautiful place to watch the sunset, see sand sculptors and admire the statues and artwork.
It has cleaned up very nicely and this trip was wonderful.
As far as "adventures" go, I would highly recommend the "zip-linng" trip or the "Rhythms of the Night" cruise, dinner and show. . .Worth every penny!.... The way we were treated and the hospitality we were shown was fantastic, it could not have been better. The people, food and places we visited were exciting and completely enjoyable, I would score it 10 out of 10.....
