Our stay at Hotel Daheim 
5 We neded a place to stay so we could catch the last week-end of the Octoberfest. Hotel was the ideal location as it was a short walk to the fair grounds, city center, central train station, grocers and of course the Hofbrauhaus. Good buffet breakfast, clean room and a very helpful staff. What more could I say or want? The place is not new but most of the central hotel are not either and are European. If you are coming here for the first time, stay at one of the places near the airport, as you may end up comlaining about everything.

Traveled to Munich for Oktoberfest Weekend 
5 Munich is such a beautiful city with very friendly people and a lively culture. I traveled to Munich for the second weekend of Oktoberfest and it was one of the best weekends I have ever experienced. So many people, so much beer, so much fun! The city of Munich is also great for site seeing with the English Gardens, Biergartens, and I also traveled to the Dracau concentration camp nearby.
